What’s Your Vision, Mission & Strategic Imperatives?

What’s Your Vision, Mission & Strategic Imperatives for 2018?

I’ve seen a bunch of chatter about having a, “word” for 2018. Mine is TRUST 🙂 But, do you have a Vision, Mission, and 3 Strategic Imperatives? This activity is something I learned from my 20+ years in corporate, and every year we outlined these three areas to help us stay focused throughout the year.

Since then, I’ve done this in my own business and found it super helpful as the year progresses. It keeps me laser beam clear on what to do, and what not do, especially when the latest “marketing thing” comes across my desk.

If you’re wanting to do this for yourself, here’s a bit of my process:

Tap Into Who You Spiritually Are
First, before I do anything I always tap into my Spiritual Attributes. The Spiritual Attribute of Divine Mind is perfect when doing visioning work partnered with my Harmony Core Processâ„¢ to clear out any errors that may be blocking me so that I am ready to receive all the inspirational messages God/Spirit/Universe is sending me.

Set Your Big Vision

Once you’re spiritually ready – set your big vision for the year. This is what you strive to be and the future of where you’re going. It doesn’t have to change yearly, if you don’t want it to. I like to think of it as how I want my company to be perceived. For example here is mine:

Vision:

To be a Premier Coaching Company that Empowers Entrepreneurs to Explore Who They Spiritually Are; Experiencing Abundance & Harmony Through My Transformational Offerings

Develop Your Mission (The How)

Next outline your mission for your business. For me this is all about the how. How you will make decisions, and how you will stay aligned and focused throughout the entire year. Some use the mission statement for the what or who, I kinda combine them together…it;s what works for me. You can do what works best for you. Here’s mine:

Mission:

(The How) – Make Spiritually Aligned Decisions

☼ Divinely Inspired Marketing

☼ Harmonious Pivots

What (I offer): Healing Treatments using my Harmony Core Processâ„¢ for healing, removing blocks, tapping into Spirit

☼ Retreats ☼ Coaching 1:1 and Mastermind

Strategic Imperatives

This is the goal-setting measurable part. Choose 3, no more, no less. The mind can easily remember things in 3’s and it keeps it focused and simple. A strategic imperative could look something like this:

#1. Grow to a $100K Net Revenue Business in 2018

#2 Hold 2 Retreats in 2018 with 15 participants

#3 Provide 6 VIP Clients with an elegant and impactful VIP Day

Strategic Imperatives are SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and timely) That way you’ll know at the end of 2018 if you hit your imperatives or not,. If not – don’t beat yourself up about it. You like grew more than you ever thought possible. Take the learning and apply it to the next year. They are a guidepost and when Divinely inspired it’s amazing how easily things fall into place for you to achieve them.

That’s it for this week! Feel free to hop on over to the Savvy Lady Facebook group and share your word, vision, mission and strategic imperatives!
